LilyFM helps you transform web articles into listenable audio experiences, enhanced with AI-powered insights. By accessing or using our Service (as defined below), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service (this "Agreement") and to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to everyone who uses our Service, whether registered or not. We may update these Terms from time to time, and we’ll let you know when significant changes are made.

Your agreement with us includes these Terms and our Privacy Policy ("Agreements"). The Terms outline the rules for using LilyFM, while the Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected. By agreeing, you confirm that you have read and understood these documents and agree to be bound by them.

1. Eligibility

To use LilyFM, you must be able to form a binding contract with us and comply with all applicable laws. Individuals under 13 years of age (or the relevant age of consent in your jurisdiction) are strictly prohibited from using the Service. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be responsible for your activities and to be bound by this Agreement on your behalf. Our Service is unavailable to any Users we have previously removed.

2. Access and Use of the Service

• Service Description: LilyFM allows users to submit links to web articles and other text content ("submitted content"). The service then processes these submitted contents to:
  • Convert text to audio format ("generated audio") using artificial intelligence (AI) technology..
  • Provide AI-based content analysis, including summaries,takeaways, action recommendations, divergent thinking prompts, and highlights ("AI Analysis").
• Permitted Use: You may access and use our Service exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you comply with this Agreement. LilyFM retains all rights not explicitly granted.
• Account Registration: To access certain features, you may register for an account using "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google." You are responsible for all activities under your account and for keeping your account credentials secure.
• Suspension or Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

3. Third-Party Services and Content

• Integrations: Our Service relies on and may integrate with third-party services, including AI service providers (e.g., Azure, OpenAI), hosting providers (e.g., Cloudflare, Neon), and authentication services (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions and privacy policies.
• Submitted Content (URLs): When you submit a URL, you are directing us to access content from a third-party website. LilyFM is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, legality, or content of these external websites or resources. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit these URLs for processing.

4. License and Content Ownership

• Your Submitted Content: You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in the URLs you submit and the original content they point to.
• License to Us: By submitting a URL to the Service, you grant LilyFM a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to access, use, process, reproduce, create derivative works of (such as Generated Audio and AI Analysis), distribute, and display the content from that URL solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the corresponding item from your LilyFM library or your account is terminated, except as necessary for our system to operate, for archival/backup purposes, or as required by law.
• Generated Audio and AI Analysis: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Generated Audio and AI Analysis produced from your Submitted Content for your personal, non-commercial use through the App. You acknowledge that the underlying AI technologies and models used to create these outputs are our or our licensors' proprietary technology.
• Feedback: If you provide us with any feedback, comments, or suggestions regarding our Services, you grant us the right to use such feedback for any purpose without obligation or compensation to you.
